Rogers & Cowan was brought on to assist in generating widespread coverage for the launch of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood. With an informed and passionate fan base, the messaging surrounding the attraction needed to be carefully and accurately crafted to ensure it represented the world in which the stories have been based and stayed true to the vision of the author J.K. Rowling.
The team identified the key outlets from both a national and regional perspective that would best tell The Wizarding World of Harry Potter story and worked closely to educate them on the attraction. Over a three month span, through media tours, spokesperson interviews and introductions, carefully timed placements were used to sustain interest in the attraction and generate momentum in the lead up to the unveiling.
