Mark Owens - CEO - Rogers & Cowan
Mark Owens - CEO

Appointed CEO of Rogers & Cowan in 2015, Mark is in an entertainment communications, content, and brand expert. He is responsible for the global vision and growth strategy of both R&C and ITB brands worldwide, their acquisition and client growth plans, and all marketing. Previously, Mark served as the Chief Revenue Officer for Corbis Entertainment, a Bill Gates-owned digital content, entertainment and licensing company where he created the Branded Entertainment Network to drive efforts in connecting global brands to entertainment through strategic brand integration. He handled brands such as Microsoft, Heineken and GM worldwide. Earlier in his career, he served as Managing Director at Ketchum and Executive Vice President at Davie Brown Entertainment, responsible for brands like Pepsi, Reebok and Mini Cooper. He is an avid chef and red wine drinker, and a father of three ranging in age from 10 to 26.

Fran Curtis - President

Fran Curtis is one of the most highly sought after PR professionals with more than 40 years of experience at Rogers & Cowan. Valued for her strategic thinking, creativity, and powerful media and entertainment industry contacts across all platforms, she has lead award-winning public relations campaigns across industries including; musicians, tours and festivals, film and TV, actors, events, magazines and consumer lifestyle brands ranging from specialty programs in health and finance to fashion and beauty. Outside of the office, you can find Fran relaxing lakeside in Connecticut with her family and is always on the hunt for the best chocolate.

Alan Nierob - President

Alan Nierob, the President of Rogers & Cowan, began his career at R&C in 1979 with an internship that soon led to an assistant position. Over the years, Alan has represented talented actors, athletes, producers, directors, and fashion icons. He has represented celebrity clients in their endorsements and creation of various products. He has also represented numerous celebrity-authored bestselling books. A graduate of UCLA, Alan is a frequent guest lecturer at his alma mater. He delivered the Commencement Address to the 2010 Communication Studies graduating class at UCLA’s Royce Hall. In 2017 Alan became a founding member of the UCLA Department of Communication Studies Board of Visitors.

Shirley Hughes - Managing Director

Shirley is Managing Director of the Brand and Lifestyle division for Rogers & Cowan. She oversees the team that, as an integrated offering, develops and executes experiential, PR, influencer, talent, and music and entertainment strategy and activations for clients. Hughes’ experience includes a career spent developing and executing global entertainment and lifestyle marketing strategies and initiatives for numerous Fortune 100 brands including GM, Heineken and Microsoft, along with a track record of stewarding creative development and innovative partnership models. Originally from Minnesota, Shirley graduated with only 15 people in her high school class.

Alisa Granz - Executive Vice President

Alisa Granz is an entrepreneurial public relations and marketing expert with nearly 20 years of success building brands both agency side and as a leader in-house. She has crafted compelling narratives and conceived creative campaigns for some of the world's most innovative companies, helping start-ups thrive, and reinvigorating household name brands with increased sales and new audience engagement. This includes international work in more than a dozen countries across five continents. Working in pop culture was a given for this LA native who ultimately returned to her roots after living in two other wonderful cities – New Orleans and Washington, D.C.

Craig Greiwe - Senior Vice President

Craig Greiwe is Senior Vice President and head of digital, while also working across Rogers & Cowan’s integrated marketing, content marketing, and creative content generation practices. A Columbia-educated lawyer and former Hollywood studio publicist, he has developed an expertise in marrying data and storytelling through truly integrated tactics—threading the needle between marketing, PR, digital, media buy, and experiential. With a thriving team that was awarded PR News’ Digital Firm of the Year and nominated for Marketing Team of the Year, Greiwe prides himself on the philosophy that how we do the work is just as important as the work we do. In his spare time, he reads the New York Times religiously.

Lindsay Galin - Executive Vice President

Executive Vice President Lindsay Galin co-heads the Talent department of Rogers and Cowan. Galin came to Rogers & Cowan in New York in 2011, after launching her own talent publicity firm, Lantern PR, in 2009. Her clients range from award winners to franchise leads and multi-hyphenates. Her strategic approach seamlessly blends a traditional and new media business model. Galin began her career in the publicity department at Hearst Magazines. She is on the board of Horizons National.

Chris Monaco - Head of Entertainment International

Chris Monaco is a global entertainment marketing and music industry expert. Chris has worked for and with the best and the brightest around the world, holding senior and executive positions with Pernod Ricard, Octagon, Universal Music, LiveStyle, and now Rogers & Cowan. His career has been rooted in building brands through innovative content, multi-platform execution, and delivering authentic experiences to consumers. He has won multiple awards over the years and served on Jury panels supporting and celebrating excellence in music/entertainment marketing, including Clio Music. His passion for music has always been the guiding principle for him #havesomefaithinthesound

Emma Gregson - Managing Director ITB

With over 18 years in the entertainment industry, Emma has built up a global and trusted network of agents, lawyers and entertainment professionals. Emma is instrumental in building client relationships across the business – with brand owners, creative agencies and individuals. She has in-depth knowledge and skills on the crafting and execution of deals and partnerships, working with Global Marketing Directors and CEO’s to instigate creative and innovative opportunities. Emma has a passion for building renovation and house projects on the side.

Matthew Pitcher - Managing Director ITB

Matthew is a qualified accountant with over 15 years in marketing services working across all areas of Finance and Operations; he qualified in 2013 and is now a fellow of the ACCA. Matthew has been at ITB for 8 years and oversees the Finance, Operations and Legal side of the business. When not working or chasing his 18 month daughter around he has a new found love for running and will be attempting the Eiger Trail in Switzerland in 2019.

Jeff Raymond - Executive Vice President

JEFF RAYMOND, IS AN EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF ROGERS AND COWAN AND OVERSEES THE COMPANY'S TALENT DIVISION. HE BEGAN HIS CAREER WORKING ON INDEPENDENT FEATURE FILM RELEASE CAMPAIGNS AS WELL AS UNIT PUBLICITY. HE LATER JOINED NANCY SELTZER & ASSOCIATES AS A VP AND TOOK ON TALENT REPRESENTATION. FROM THERE, HE WENT ON TO OPEN A BOUTIQUE PR FIRM, PYR PR. HE CAME TO ROGERS & COWAN IN 2007 AND CONTINUES TO REPRESENT ACTORS, ATHLETES AND MUSICIANS. HE ALSO WORKS ON CORPORATE ACCOUNTS AS WELL AS EVENTS, MUSIC TOURS AND ENDORSEMENT CAMPAIGNS FOR HIS CLIENTS. Dennis Dembia - Executive Vice President

Dennis Dembia oversees Rogers & Cowan's global corporate entertainment practice, managing strategic branding and campaign initiatives for leading film and TV companies, producers, financiers, distributors, studios, filmmakers, government supported entertainment entities, as well as film festivals and events around the globe. Dembia has over 18 years of public relations and corporate communications experience within the entertainment industry. Prior to joining Rogers & Cowan in 2004, he held senior positions at Denmead Marketing and Artisan Entertainment. While living in Los Angeles, the Ohio native remains fervently loyal to his star-crossed Cleveland sports teams.

Melissa Schumer - Executive Vice President

Melissa Schumer applies her strategic and creative communications expertise working with global brands and start-ups in digital entertainment, multi-platform content, pop culture, consumer products and technology. Her experience ranges from working in-house at Fox heading up communications for their digital content to spearheading corporate communications for Sony’s digital distribution initiatives. She currently oversees the team handling YouTube’s Music, Originals and Consumer communications programs. She has a zeal for building franchise brands and focuses on delivering innovative event, influencer and PR campaigns on behalf of Hasbro. Gaming is a passion with expertise in mobile, console and PC activations for brands such as 2K, AMC, Kabam, Netmarble, Sega and Ubisoft. Her labor of love is the creation of a sinewy flagstone pathway leading to a zen deck where her dogs can roam the hills.

Steve Doctrow - Executive Vice President

With more than 25 years+ of global integrated marketing experience, creative executive Steve Doctrow specializes in the strategic development and execution of high-profile public relations and promotional campaigns and is equally as experienced with digital, traditional and grassroots marketing. At Rogers & Cowan, Steve oversees the Arts, Culture and Entertainment team working across numerous specialties including global philanthropic organizations, red carpet events, entertainment properties, luxury real estate and travel/hospitality. Additionally, Steve has overseen many worldwide public relations campaigns, from securing global talent for The Venetian Macau to staging media and celebrity events in the United States, Australia, Beijing, Brazil, Germany, Shanghai, Switzerland, Taipei, Tokyo, Toronto and the United Kingdom. Outside strategizing and executing campaigns, Steve loves to play practical jokes.

Meilani Weiss - Senior Vice President

Meilani Weiss oversees Brand Integration & Content Partnerships at Rogers & Cowan. With more than 18 years in the industry, Meilani specializes in connecting Hollywood content creators with brands of all sizes and building successful partnerships to organically feature a brand on-screen and in marketing programs globally. Her personal passion for everything film and television helps keep her clients in trend setting properties!

Michael Jacobson - Vice President

An expert in celebrity and influencer strategy, Michael builds impactful talent driven programs on behalf of brands, agencies and non-profits. With nearly 20 years of partnership creation he has deep relationships in entertainment, sports, lifestyle and music. He takes pride in managing a great team and has a passion for breaking down complex issues into straightforward solutions for clients. Los Angeles based, Michael enjoys spending time with his family and friends outside, especially on the tennis court.

Lesley Burbridge - Executive Vice President

Lesley started her publicity career heading up the PR department at Epic/Word Records for 8 years, forming her own agency in 2000. In 2009, L.A.B. Media was acquired by Rogers & Cowan, which brought Lesley from Nashville to L.A. to launch a new division for R&C, with specialty in Family Entertainment & Faith-Based initiatives, handling diverse mainstream & faith-based publicity campaigns. With staff in L.A. & Nashville, Lesley’s team serves clients in the music, publishing, sports, brand/corporate and entertainment/celebrity arenas. In her spare time, Lesley founded Go Concerts, a charity-driven concert division of Youth with a Mission in Hawaii, promoting events & tours through Hawaii & a number of foreign countries for the Olympic Games.

Maureen O’Connor - EVP

Maureen O'Connor is the Executive Vice President of the Music Group at Rogers & Cowan. Prior to joining R&C, O’Connor was the SVP at Solters/Roskin/Friedman. Additionally, she held various marketing and publicity positions at Capitol Records, including East and West Coast Director of media/artist development. Notable clients have included: Gibson Brands, The Grammy Awards, Emmy Awards, Latin Grammy Awards, CinemaCon, Skyville Live, Hispanic Heritage Awards, Jesse & Joy, J Balvin, Juanes, Universal Music, Shangri-La Entertainment, Toni Braxton, Ashanti, MusiCares Person of the Year gala, The Rua, Brian May, among others. O’Connor taught at the Correctional Institution for Women in New Jersey prior to entering the entertainment business.

Fraser Sinclair - Senior HR Director

Fraser Sinclair oversees Human Resources across Rogers and Cowan’s North American offices. His role covers Employee engagement, Diversity and Inclusion and culture initiatives for all of our employees. Before joining Rogers and Cowan Fraser worked in HR across the Fashion, Media and Music industries. Fraser is a former Brit originally from London and spends most of his free time dining in LA’s restaurants “for research purposes”.

Carla Blizzard - Senior Vice President

Carla has over 20 years in VIP Services specializing in red carpet dressing and product placement. Launching targeted public relations campaigns with a wide range of brands from established fashion houses to independent brands new to the market. She has spearheaded successful initiatives for an array of luxury fashion and accessory brands including Zuhair Murad and Chopard with high profile placements around the globe including placements at the Academy Awards, Golden Globes and the Cannes Film Festival. Outside of work, Carla enjoys exploring art museums and galleries and international travel.
